I thought of course you do because He deserves all the glory you will bring Him.

Thanks for your encouraging words. We've heard that question so many times..."Why Me?" We've heard that question so many times in our lives, but really the question should be "Why not Me?" God uses each of us, and we are not to question Him about the "why" part. But, girl, is it ever so hard not to question Him!?!?!! :)

Great post!

Prayers and blessings,
RebeccaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02438968579173979217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7743538212105747897.post-78556834441108546182008-07-29T15:16:00.000-05:002008-07-29T15:16:00.000-05:00I love reading your thoughts on this book we are s...I love reading your thoughts on this book we are sharing! it is so fun to see what was sparked in each of us as we peruse Lysa's words! I've asked "Why Me?" many times myself. I love your response! But it is still hard soemtimes, isn't it? I want to do what God asks of me...
Your Comment...

"I know it's not my place to figure things out. That's not what He has called me to do, He just asks me to trust, submit and proceed."

That spoke volumes to me. I am in a place where I feel like there are too many things on my plate, yet I don't feel God calling me to leave any of them behind. I needed to hear your comment. I don't need to be the one to figure things out. God only wants me to trust Him, submit to Him, and proceed to obey Him.
Thanks so much for sharing this.
LynnLynnSChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10432169849148442563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7743538212105747897.post-78904363733739585982008-07-29T14:33:00.000-05:002008-07-29T14:33:00.000-05:00Loved this what you wroted: I know it's not my pla...Loved this what you wroted: I know it's not my place to figure things out. That's not what He has called me to do, He just asks me to trust, submit and proceed.

AMEN!!!
Also, loved your conversation with God at the end.
As I'm trying to understand the death of a child from a virus they have no idea what it was that took his life...when I look at his parents and see how dedicated they are to God...'WHY' really comes to mind. I just talked to our friend and was bawling because in the midst of his pain he was ministering to me because he chooses to live a life of YES's to our King. I want that in my life. No hesitation, just YES.
So glad we're on this journey together!!!Lelia Chealeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13173827811277833243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7743538212105747897.post-29524776679069350812008-07-29T09:35:00.000-05:002008-07-29T09:35:00.000-05:00Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comme...Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I can relate to what you are saying today. I read Lysa's book "What Happens with Women say Yes to God", and was so challenged... I feel God used that book (along with other things) to help me begin a new stage in my life...

Blessings to you...Toknowhimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11430244538735098103noreply@blogger.com
