There is a great song we sing at church...it says, "I know who I am, I know who I am, I know who I am...I am Yours, I am Yours!"

Knowing I am His, that He loves me, that He made me with purpose and beauty...I need that identity. Having my identity rooted in Him is a FIRM foundation, as opposed to the sinking sand of people's opinions or my own successes/failures.

I agree with Rachel. :) Keep writing! It does matter! :)Kimberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07534550649815409116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7743538212105747897.post-88227656311159344212011-02-02T09:54:01.923-06:002011-02-02T09:54:01.923-06:00You're right we must grab hold of who we are i...You're right we must grab hold of who we are in Christ.

The truth I want to hold onto:
I am His daughter...joint heir with Jesus! His Spirit dwells in me!

Romans 8:14-17 (NLT):
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory.

Keep writing, Jill!
